CHEF OMAR
Chef Omar is a showman with all the pomp of P.T. Barnum and the talent of a quitessential celebrity chef. Trained at the prestigious Johnson and Wales College, this Detroit native son brought it home to his community as a private chef to NBA regulars, creative caterer, innovative restauranteur, and featured competitor on the Food Network's vaunted "Chopped". He's championed his city's rennaissance serving on the MLB World Series Host Committee Detroit & Super Bowl Host Committee Detroit and continues to mentor DPS culinary students. His mantra may be 'where the WOW factor meets impeccable service'. Table No. 2, his fine dining restaurant, exemplied this committent to his craft. We are honored to celebratet him as a friend and Consulting Chef as he and other dedicated culinary influencers launch the next phase of memorable menues and meal service.

A consummate perfectionist and lifelong student, his menus reflect an unparelled knowledge of nutritional combinations with the
uncanny ability to translate this to a plate that's as much fun to see as it's tasty and healthy. When I asked his secret, he said ' a well trained chef (which he is) should be able to transform any dietary requirements into something amazing'
